Bericht van Wikwiheba Mwana

Gisteren een berichtje gekregen van Mediatrice, de leidster van het opvanghuis Wikwiheba Mwana in Ngarama in Rwanda.

Hieronder haar brief in het engels. Het is af en toe een beetje moelijk te volgen maar aangezien zij vorig jaar slechts drie maanden les heeft gehad, is het toch knap dat ze zo'n brief schrijft.

Hieronder de tekst van haar mail en daaronder een aantal foto's die ik ontving van de kapsalon die zij heeft kunnen openen met het geld bijeen gebracht door de sponsoren en waarmee de stichting geld wil verdienen:

Dear Friends donators,

I feel very very happy and I think that you are very well olso.

We are very well with our disabled children. You surprised me for another help from you.I am appologize because, I am late to send you my thanks.

In Rwanda, it rains, we can plant our crops. We planted the beans and maize in our field.

I am very glad to tell you the news of our hair dresser. It is the best saloon in our center commercial. We have customers and I find the food easly. We have two workers for men and me for women. I thank you again because I can request many problems.

I receive many visitors and they thank you for help us when I show them your actions to us. They asked me why the workers are not members of WIKWIHEBA MWANA Association, parents of children capable.Yes, the workers are payed. "Those persons need first the formation in four months". That is the my answer that I give those visitors. And it is true. But, at the time that we will form them, we will received some money to serve urgencely our disabled. But we will form them in the future. It is in my plans. I want first the money.

I am calling upon for to find the person or organisation for to build our own house but, I don't yet find. Our Country is poor that is the reason why it can't help us to build. Olso, we are many associations in The Country (34 associations) wich assist the disabled children. Only three associations have their owner buildings.

I am waiting for the Liliane Fonds to 4 physically handicap children to pay the physiotherapics only. May be they will sellect an other children to pay the school feels for them. Thank you.
